VyasaTeertharu a great Sanskrit
scholar attained complete mastery of all the 37 granthas of Sri AnandaTeertharu
and wrote “BhedaJeevani”, “TarkaTandava”, “Tantrasara” and also composed
padas and suladis in Kannada. Lord Krishna was always visible to his inward
eyes.
The mahima of Sri VyasaTeertharu is described by Sri GuruJagannathaVithalaru, that a poor brahmin requested to end his life owing to certain difficulties. VyasaTeertharu asked that man ,to chant “Kona ( Male Buffalo) Mantra of YamadharmaRaya. Immediately after chanting the mantra, the Kona (Male Buffalo) appeared and asked him to accompany. The poor bahmin was afraid and came to VyasaTeertharu and requested to save him, then VyasaTeertharu asked the Kona to remove a huge stone, which was in the lake .That Kona immediately removed the stone and broke into pieces. As a result of that,huge amount of water collected in that lake. Thus the lake become “VyasaSagara.”. The brahmin got fullest blessings of Vyasarayaru in life with wealth,children and honer.
The nobility, kindness and affection of Sri VyasaTeertharu to the people towards the upliftment knew no bounds. A divine to all the needy hands , hearts and minds.
In Tirumali Hills, Vyasarayaru lived for 12 years performing the pooja of Sri Lord Venkateshwara regularly. Vyasarayaru laid the pooja system from morning suprabhatam to night ekanta seva.
The Vyasarayaru proceeded to the VijayaNagara empire Hampi. YantoddharaPranaDevara pratishtapana took place, made Humpi a Holy place.
